The 10th Annual Hawaii Farmers Union United (HFUU) Convention may be going virtual this year, but that allows hemp and agriculture enthusiasts the world over to tune in to some revolutionary agricultural speakers including soil food web expert Dr. Elaine Ingham; regenerative soil specialist Ray Archuleta (star of the documentary Kiss the Ground); famed mycologist Paul Stamets; self proclaimed “lunatic farmer” Joel Salatin of Polyface Farms; Jeff Moyer, Executive Director of the Rodale Institute; gut microbiome specialist Dr. Zach Bush, M.D.; hemp entrepreneur Janel Ralph; and others.
Scheduled for Thursday, November 12 – Sunday, November 15, the event brings together some of the world’s leading innovators in soil health and regenerative agriculture, with a healthy program dedicated to hemp production, including a “lunch” presentation by Bill Richmond, Director of the USDA Hemp Program.
“The HFUU event offers a stellar line up for this year’s 10th annual convention. Let’s Talk Hemp Media and the WAFBA Family of Brands are members of HFUU and are proud to support Hawaii’s hemp initiatives and advocate for regenerative agriculture. We encourage you to join in the virtual event this year until we can meet again in person, said Elizzy Knight, Co-founder of Let’s Talk Hemp and WAFBA.
As part of the closing day of the Hawaii Farmers Union program on November 15, Willie, Lukas and Micah Nelson and friends will perform a livestream concert for convention attendees. Let’s Talk Hemp is a media sponsor of the event. For information and to register, visit https://hfuuhi.org/2020-state-convention/
